pookie's already in your workspace. here's how to get the most out of it.

invite pookie to a channel

open any slack channel and type /invite @pookie

pookie can be added to as many channels as you want — public or private.

mention @pookie, send a dm, or use the ai tab

in channels, just tag @pookie followed by whatever you need. in a dm with pookie, you can just type normally.

if your workspace has slack's ai surfaces enabled, you can also open pookie from the top bar and start chatting there.

after the first mention, pookie subscribes to the thread automatically — keep chatting without tagging again.

tips for best results

mention or dm use @pookie in any channel or thread, or open a direct message and talk normally. after the first mention in a thread, you can keep chatting without tagging again.
the ai tab is great for quick asks open pookie from slack's top bar when you want a one-on-one assistant view with suggested prompts and channel-aware help.
threads are pookie's thing once you mention pookie, it subscribes to the thread. keep chatting there and pookie follows along — no need to tag it again.
be specific the more context you give, the better pookie responds. "check if login works on staging" beats "test the site" every time.
share links freely pookie can fetch any url and read it. articles, docs, pages — just paste the link and ask your question.
it's ok to ask follow-ups pookie remembers the thread context. ask clarifying questions, dig deeper, or change direction mid-convo.
workspace search has boundaries pookie can only search conversations it can access. if it isn't in a private channel or dm, it can't magically read it.
